Small Town Charm

So, no argument here: Williamstown is pretty remote. Beyond a few streets close to the town, there's not much it will offer you. But what it does offer you is completely charming. Townspeople regularly participate in college sponsored events, or college students will help out at the local schools. Spring St. definitely isn't bustling (there's really only one bar in town), but it has dependable options for a night out to eat, and is easy distance. The cohesiveness between college and berkshire life makes the town a great place to live- and the views don't hurt.

Rustic With Minor Pockets of Activity

Williamstown, MA will rarely feature on anyone's top towns of the United States, but it's got its own quirks and charms that make it special. During the academic school year, the town (which basically centers around the college and consists of two main roads) is hustling and bustling from morning to around 6pm. Most of the stores on the main roads close by 7 or 8 pm, so fear not, the libraries remain open until past midnight!

The town is really built around the students so everyone is really friendly, and there will always be activities for you to participate in on the weekends.

Small Rural Town With a Big Heart

Although this school is located in a rural area, the community surrounding the school adds to the special intimate setting. Community members are just as involved as the students and faculty members. You really get a familial feeling when here.
