Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

No appointment is necessary for an information session. Sessions last about an hour and are led by admissions staff and assisted by a student. Interviews are one-on-one information sessions that are not required and don’t affect admission. They are available on campus weekdays between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. from June through August. Alumni interviews can be scheduled off campus between September and November 1. They can be requested by e-mailing Terri.J.Melville@williams.edu. On-campus interviews must be scheduled in advance by calling (413) 597-2214.

Campus Tours

No advanced notice is needed for a campus tour. Tours generally last one hour and are lead by students. For more information on group sessions or campus tours, including holiday tour schedules, please visit www.williams.edu/admission/visit_tours.php.

Overnight Visits

High school seniors are eligible to stay overnight at Williams. Overnight visits are arranged through the Purple Key Society and the admissions office. Visits must be scheduled at least 10 days in advance. Please call the admissions office for more information, or visit www.williams.edu/admission/visit_overnight.php to schedule online. f you are an admitted student who cannot attend Previews, you may request an overnight for the days between April 12-16, and April 22-24, but visits may only be scheduled for Sunday through Thursday.
