Well, it is cold. However, it is a matter of how cold is too cold for you. As time goes by, most students learn to cope with the cold, and some actually enjoy the snow. Fortunately, the valley that Williamstown sits in protects Williams from the harshest part of storms that hit the rest of the Berkshires.

The fall is the highlight of Williamstown. Set in the forest and mountain areas of Massachusetts, Williamstown is surrounded by beautiful scenery, even if the weather is a bit chilly. Students find themselves anticipating the coming of spring when the snow finally melts, the weather warms up, and the color returns to Williamstown.

New England Beauty

Some outsiders might say that New England weather- especially in the Berkshires- is a little temperamental, but it just keeps it interesting. The scenery is beautiful in any weather, and most spring days are sunny and beautiful. Although it does get quite cold in the winter, the winter study semester allows for an opportunity to stay inside a bit more and just chill out or party with friends.

Summer Is Great, Winter Not So Much

The Fall was abnormally warm, and the Spring and Summer is beautiful at Williams. However, the Winter has been very wet and cold, it's pretty miserable.
