The psychology major has the best faculty and the most interesting faculty in my opinion.

The professors are great and there's definitely academic rigor. it's hard but it's worth it.

Parking is free, but it can be hard to find a spot sometimes.

I'm a member of Greek life and I really enjoy it. I think it would be good to join

There's not a ton of diversity, but people are accepting.

The campus is so small that there is no need for campus shuttles, but taxis are always available to call.

Greek life at my school is a huge part of student's social life. Over half of the school is Greek and that makes it easy for pretty much everyone to know each other. The only thing I would change about Greek Life is having housing for the different fraternities and sororities.

School policies here are most strict when it comes to alcohol, drugs, and the honor code. I believe that by being strict in these areas, it allows students to be smart in their decision making and safe when it comes to alcohol and drug use.

Health & Safety:
I feel fairly safe of campus because it is such a small campus, but around the outskirts of campus there is crime every now and then, but campus safety is very good about doing something about it and notifying the student body so they can be on the lookout of something or someone suspicious.

At my school there are only 3 "dining hall" options and only two of them are very good. There is not a great deal of variety but the quality of food is actually very good. In one of the dining halls they put in boars head meat this year and that makes a significant difference in the taste of sandwiches. That hall is definitely the place to be now.

Greek life is big. It dominates. And if you're someone who is not into it, dealing with the annoyances of Greeks will be a constant struggle.

Food is fine, plenty of options.

I am a Biology major and it is a pretty difficult major. There is a lot of work and I have to study a lot. There are a lot of tutors that are willing to help you though. Also the professors are very helpful. You can ask them questions in class or set up an appointment to talk to them in their office. They seem to love their students and really want to help them.

The local vicinity does not offer much aside from the library, the cultural center, and the various dining places. However, about an hour drive gets you to Columbia, the state capital and largest city in South Carolina, and home to the University of South Carolina. There are many things you can do there! Definitely recommend. If you like outdoor activities, the mountains are close by too. :)

As far as I can see, there's little to no drug scene at Wofford College. I've seen a few people smoke but that's about it. Students partake in drinking more than anything though and that's on occasion.

Professors are extremely accessible to students, both in and outside of the classroom. If a student ever needs outside help, professors are willing to meet with them, or set them up with the tutoring program at our school. Although workload is heavy, it is not unbearable. Alumni at Wofford make it easy for students to partake in internships, as well as open job opportunities for the future.

Wofford College has excellent academics. Although classes are rigorous, I truly believe Wofford will help you excel in all areas of life after graduation. Because it is a Liberal Arts College, you make many connections across studies that would not otherwise be noted at larger colleges or universities. Professors know each student by name in class, and are willing to invest time in and outside of class with them. I'm highly impressed with the travel abroad program at Wofford, as well as the special Interim (January Term) experience that allows students to learn about things they otherwise would never be able to learn about. I love Wofford and all that it has to offer!

Not many dining options, and the times to go eat limited. There is also not much variety.
College Sophomore 2013-07-25T22:05:37Z
Although alcohol is present at school, I don't believe there is an issue. I'm highly impressed by our amnesty policy, and how Campus Saftey deals with alcohol on campus.

Since the campus is small, moving from place to place on the campus is very easy. It will take you no longer than 10 minutes to get from one side to the other by walking.
The campus also has pretty much everything you would need from a grocery store on campus, but when you feel like leaving campus, everything you could possibly want is within 10 minutes of driving. The only thing you'll need to worry about is finding a car, but as long as you or a friend has one, transportation is very easy around the town.

Computers are always there with people always willing to help you. Printing is free, well included in your tuition, so you don't really have to pay and in a sense have unlimited copies. You have the choice of wifi or ethernet. I prefer ethernet when I'm in my dorm.
