About everything you need is here. There isn't much in the way of activities for students but that's to be expected with this type of school. Computers are not cutting edge, but have ample ability to do what you need.

It's a small student body, not many people come here to meet new students because they probably know a good portion of them. Diversity is slim, mostly Caucasian.

There are no classes available for my major (Computer Science) which is one of the fastest growing fields. All I can take is gen eds and I feel as though I'm getting behind.

The student body at my school is made up mostly of recent high school graduates and those in their early 20's. I have waited several years to return to college as I felt I was too old. However, I have noticed that there are quite a few non-traditional students registered as well. I have spent a great deal of time studying and just hanging out in the Boatclub, which is our dining commons, and it seems as though everyone gets along really well, not afraid to answer the questions of new students, and act like they are all one big family.

Academic Experience – The professors took great interest in the students and were readily available to answer any questions that we had. Since I am persuing a Bachelors Degree in Social Work I will only be able to complete two of the four years at Lake Campus and I must register for classes with my advisor. This process, so far, has been extremely easy and the requirements of my field have been explained to me. Being a non-traditional student the workload per quarter is something that will take the most adjusting to. I am raising two granddaughters and have to schedule my studies in between their needs and along side them when they are studying.

Study Body at Lake Campus – Mostly my school consists of people from around this area going to the lake campus to save money being a small college. A lot of the student body consists of education majors or business majors.

Professors Getting Involved – With being a small college the professors get involved to make sure all the students in the class are on the right track and making sure if they have any questions that they can answer.

Lake Campus in Review – My school has a math center that helps students with any math questions they may have in any of the math fields. Also my school has a writing center that an individual can go to for help on ideas on how to write there paper or to get feedback on there paper that they wrote.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
