once they usually get your money they really dont care or work with you as much as they do when they are trying to get you enrolled and its pretty upsetting

You mostly see guys in this school. Not many females know that there is a chance for them in the classes that my school offers. But, over all, everyone is nice and friendly. But, of course just like any other school, there are your wanna be's and smart people.

My major is Electrician. At WyoTech you DO get the hands on training that you need everyday. But, it is still important to ask as many questions as possible. Some teacher do not explain things as much as they need to be explained. But, one must demand our education.

I do wish that the teachers were more involved with the students. I do understand that being on top of all the students is not going to happen. But, if the teacher can be involved with the students more within a group at a time, that would be amazing.

I am able to work around my personal schedule and still have more than enough time to study and complete homework and also have so free time for myself.

Wyotech helps students to create a resume and cover letter as well as assist
in job placement. They also walk you the ASE certification once you have completed your schooling.

from what i can tell the computers operate at a good rate, no hang ups in the connections. Anything you may need to print out or have printed out are free of cost. I have no issue with the wireless access on or around there campus.

I really like the hands on approach to learning although I feel that the HVAC program should have better supplies, especially wires. Most of the teachers are great and helpful.

The campus has a student and instructor lounge. It is a good place to study or catch up on thing in the morning while waiting for my class to start.

My school offers Plumbing, Electrician< HVAC(heating ventilation and air conditioning) and Automotive Programs. I feel my school is different then others due to the hands on training we receive, especially in the trades i just named. With that in mind, I feel my school accepts any students no matter what background they have. Just last week i met a student who claims to have a felony. I feel my school should have strict policy on who can enroll and who cannot.

The student body is great at helping you find what you ask them for such as questions.

The education I paid for is somewhat worth it but the time of completion is really worth it.

Feeling at Home – Being at wyotech, I have met so many cool people that have become some good friends. I have met instructors that have helped me and giving me some vital advise. I have met the career service people that really have taken the time to know me and help me get a job. I really enjoy showing up to school everyday with my shirt tucked in and looking professional. I am fairly new to this school so I have a lot of experiences to come, Im really happy with the choice I have made to come to this school.

Lots but Slow – In our auto shop, we have maybe 15 computers spread out for students to use to find vital information on disassembling and re assembling different parts of cars. We need those computers, but they are really slow. and need to be updated. We have a 2 printers to get whatever information we need, but the last 3 days I needed it, it has been out of ink. No one has replaced it yet...
the computers in our career service department are a little faster, none the less we have plenty of computers with internet access to help student and faculty as much as needed

Helpful from Day 1 – The first day I enrolled in school I was introduced to our career service help center faculty. My assigned member made it clear to me that if I wanted a job, I need to work for it. So I came into the office the next day, got sat down and made a really good looking resume, they helped me proofread and design a layout for it, and helped me reword some of it to sound more professional.
My career service rep, recommended me for a few open job positions, and really wants to help me get a job.
After school or near my graduation, is where they will really help me secure a position in a well known company.

Career Service Department Is So Helpful – We have a great resource facilities, one of the great parts include our career service department. There are plenty of people who's jobs are to help us find jobs, help us get through school, and help us get ourselves known in the work world.
Our autoshop is tremendous and extremely well stocked, with nearly 25 car lifts and over a million dollars in snap-on tools. so every class can be out in the shop, if they are not already hitting the books and studying in class.
We have a nice little student lounge where we can sit and watch t.v, get some healthy snacks and just relax on your lunch or break.
The reason I am giving my school a A, is well because it deserves it, we are the real deal, we are training to be automotive technicians, and the school is providing the perfect ingredients for us to become that.
