Visitation Policies
Yale doesn't have any restrictions on visitation. However, the policy doesn't appear to result in abuse of the system. Most Yalies are too busy to host friends often; when they do, it's usually because their friends from other schools are visiting Yale for conferences, academic events, or joint concerts. Of course, there is always a serious crunch for floor space during the Yale/Harvard game weekend.
Did You Know?
As befits an academic institution where most of the professors make their living on their ideas, Yale upholds strict policies on plagarism and illegal obtainment of resources. This means that there is strict policing of illegal downloads, so think twice before illegally downloading music or movies.
