Students are enthusiastic about their love for Yale. Some even claim that they have never been happier in their lives. Although students often complain about their piles of work or their small dorm rooms, in the end, all these problems fade into the background of the overall picture. Instead, all they see are the gorgeous buildings, amazing classes, brilliant faculty, and endless lists of cool things to do.
When it comes down to it, however, students are in love with the people they have had the opportunity to meet. Students at Yale are smart, easy-going, dynamic, fun, interesting, and amazingly talented. When they get together, they have fascinating discussions and produce incredible work. At Yale, you have the opportunity to grow academically, as well as personally. Most Yalies agree that this personal development is the most important and rewarding part of their college experience.
I have little knowledge about Greek Life at Yale. I'm not sure if I've ever met a Greek student
Yale has top notched information technology services including the ability to print from anywhere on campus. We are a bit jealous of the Forestry School who has unlimited printing.
They are pretty liberal with parking here and few tickets or tows are actually done.
In my program (in the Divinity School) an internship/placement is required. I have not done it yet, but everything I've heard has been good and I'm looking forward to it. There are many options, from different sorts of parish internship to placements in hospital and school chaplaincies. Best of all, it comes with a stipend, so you don't have to worry about the fact that it basically prevents you from having a job.
I'm new to the divinity school, but so far its wonderful. The campus itself is beautiful, all closed so that in the winter you don't have to walk outside between classes, it's in a safe part of town, etc. The people are wonderful, there are great musical opportunities, and placements/internships come with a stipend!
