It does not make sense to live off campus- you are paying a ton more, and you aren't on the cafeteria's meal plan.

Manhattan is filled with apartments for rent. If you find roommates the cost should be somewhat affordable but taking into consideration buying food and other expenses included, it it costly. Apartments can be very conveniently places close to school though.

Health & Safety:
There are security guards at the front of every single building and one cannot enter without either having a school ID card or being signed in by somebody who does. I have never felt unsafe in school but because the school is located in the city, everyone needs to be cautious. There are also local shuttles for those who want to take it to ensure safety.

The campus is in midtown Manhattan making it very difficult to park. The school does not have it's own parking lot here, but there are a few parking garages that charge a fee that are close by.

It is in the heart of NYC! There's no better place
College Junior 2013-08-15T13:47:23Z
The school is in New York....that says it all! There are many bars, bakeries, coffee shops and diners that stay open very late with free WiFi.
College Junior 2013-08-15T13:43:26Z
Campus housing is not offered to psych grad students at this school. Only medical students can obtain housing assistance. This is unfair.

There is much to do in New York! Public transportation is a breeze and you can visit many museums, parks, shopping, attractions and eat wonderful food. One draw back is that the monthly transportation unlimited card is $112.

Most students are Caucasian and lean toward Jewish tradition. However, this semester I have noticed an increase of other ethnicities and other religious backgrounds.

The people aren't overly friendly, but they don't impede on your life either.
College Sophomore 2013-07-30T21:23:50Z
There is not much diversity here. Most people went to private school growing up.

Athletics at YU are awful. The teams are terrible, and nobody really goes to the events.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
