I came to Yeshiva University because it has a great pre-med program. Campus life is fun and engaging, there's a different event each night so if you want to fill your calendar it really isn't that difficult! The midtown location provides opportunity in itself to see the city and really see the dozen parades happening regularly! Classes are intriguing and the professors are only wanting to see you take your education far in life!

The professors at YU are great! However, there is not much variety in the classes and many of the fields are very limited. The double workload can at times be stressful, but I still find time to be involved in a number of extracurricular activities each semester and work part-time.

While we do have some of the top professors in the field for some areas of study, the class variety is low and there are often only a few classes offered in any given field. Also, YU is very limited in terms of the majors you can pursue. The Jewish Studies/Bible department, however, is top notch.

I'm majoring in English communications, and there are tons of connections and internships available for PR/journalism. The career center and academic advising are helpful.

Challenging, but Manageable. YU was ranked one of the top 50 schools in country. We have small classes, and can learn a lot from our teachers, but we have a double-curriculum, which forces us complete jewish studies requirements.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
