At York College there is a lot of green area for people to hang out in. We have an indoor facility which in the winter time comes in really handy. the library is very accessible and has very friendly workers that are willing to help every student out. We just built a new building for student activities and chapel that is held daily. there are a lot of groups that are available to students and plenty of activities always happening. the athletic fields are just not in the best condition due to us sharing it with the community high school

There are no public transportation at York College. It is a very small town so everything is with in walking distance on campus. If a person needs to go somewhere off campus it is fairly easy to find a ride or take your own car. Long-distance transportation is easy to set-up because either people can fly home or a lot of students share rides home to save on money and gas.

Guys & Girls:
The guys at York college are focused on getting an education for the most part. Most of the guys came to the college on some sort of athletic scholarship. There are some rednecks on campus but mostly just the average guy. Most of the girls and guys enrolled at York are strongly religious and their lives revolve around it. If you are from a big city or high school then coming here will be very different but its a nice change of pace especially since all of the boys and girls are very outgoing and overly friendly.

I would give our college an A- because this is, although not a perfect school, a wonderful and safe place to get an education. It is rare that I have felt the need to seclude myself there is so much to do on campus...from social clubs, to honor societies, to performing arts. and much much more.

I would give our college a B+ in strictness, because if there is a problem and the staff/faculty are alerted about it then they will deal with it accordingly, but if they are not aware of a problem they cannot deal with it.

I give our campus an A+ because not only are there many different races, but also many different personalities. I know no campus is perfect but York College I would say is pretty close.

Our campus is really old and run down. But there are some new buildings which make it look nicer

When the sports team have study hall most of them go and get on social websites and just use up the space. but otherwise they are pretty open

One of my professors is fabulous she genuinely cares about all of her students. Some of my professors aren't the most passionate or enthusiastic about their jobs.

It's a good environment, several local attracrions and something interesting for individuals of all races and ethnicity

It sucks so bad. I always buy my own food because my stomach can't handle their food.
College Sophomore 2013-01-31T16:40:42Z
The faculty don't really help as much as they say they do, but the professors are really nice and are helpful depending on who you have, the food there cost quite a bit as well as the transportation fee, it s convenient based on distance though.

Finding free parking can be a challenge. If you get to campus early you should find off campus parking. There are parking lots available for teachers and students the fee is reasonable if you attend classes more than one day a week.

York College has a diverse population of students and teachers. From my prospective it openly accepts people of all racial and ethnic background. It is a very cultural competent environment.

There's a parking lot for students to park. I believe it's about $20-30 for a parking permit

Guys & Girls:
I just recently transfer to the school, so still trying to get around. But so far not bad from what I've seen at the Christian club, very welcoming.
College Senior 2012-09-21T11:55:47Z
I have absolutely no problem. I applied for financial aid and got it. Except I didn't get TAP because the classes I am taking is not towards my major.
College Senior 2012-09-21T11:52:59Z
The school is a smoke free area. I barely see students smoking near the school. They are really watching out for the students safety. There's security agents at every entrance of the school with no York College ID or Regular ID can't get in

Transportation is right outside the door as well as a couple blocks away

York is accessible by public transportation so that makes it easy to get there. There is food and shopping around as well. They usually have alot of events going on at the school and have a good attitude toward the student.

I gave a B+ because the school tries to do what they can when it snows to clear paths and make sure that we have heat available but during the summer sometimes it is to hot in the classrooms as the AC may not work.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
