I haven't started school yet so It's hard to answer a lot of these questions but from what I see it is a very focused school! Their goal is to get you educated and get you out into the workforce as soon as they can.

The people in my program are there because they have a goal. They are there for a reason. Most are people working hard and going to school.

Applying at YTI has been easy and painless. They aren't requiring a huge amount of items from me. It's much closer to me than a large traditional college. I am able to work while attending flexible classes so that I can still take care of my family.

I am enrolled in the dental assistant program and feel that yti is the best school for me to do so because they make it feel as if you are already in the work field and the class is only fifteen seats which is even better for students to get more one on one.

The computer network at my school is very good and reliable. There also is enough computers and privacy to do your work and research without any distractions.

The Culinary Arts program at YTI is outstanding. The equipment is well taken care of and the kitchens are top-notch! Being able to work in the student-run restaurant is something that really attracted me to the school. I learn well with hands-on experiences and this is very exciting to me. Also, I have faith that the staff at YTI will match me with the perfect internship for me.

All of the staff at YTI are very involved with the students and everyone seems very genuine. I am very impressed by how much time the staff takes to really get to know the students as well as help them in every way possible.

After comparing YTI's Culinary Arts program with the programs of the surrounding schools, I knew that I made the best decision. I can't wait to graduate and use my gained knowledge to excel in the real-world culinary industry.

There may not be athletics at YTI, but the fact that they have traveling culinary teams is very impressive. The student center and staff at YTI are excellent. I am always very happy to be on campus.

The staff at YTI are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I did not come in contact with one unpleasant person on the campus. I was also blown away by the curriculum as well as the organization of the school. I am ecstatic to start school this fall.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
During, and leading up to my Financial Aid appointment, everyone was very helpful and kind. Both my Admissions advisor and my Financial Aid advisor were extremely friendly and helpful. They worked around my busy schedule, and provided me with all of the information I needed to know. I believe that the Financial Aid that I am about to receive will be very helpful.

I have not yet begun my classes. However, the curriculum and internship opportunities seem outstanding. I was given a tour of the school and the Dentistry setting looks great. I believe that I will take a lot from what I am about to learn.

All of my co-hort all get along some of us even hang out after school and weekends. We don't have many things to do on campus together but the student lounge is so nice.

Chef Cobb makes the kitchen not only fun but informative. I've never worked in the industry but I feel like I am now.
College Junior 2013-07-18T19:14:31Z
I personally only use the LRC for my internet access but I've heard my classmates say they would rather use wireless at school than their own.
College Junior 2013-07-18T19:13:06Z
I'm in CARM and I take computer class, food math, sanitation, student success along with my kitchen classes and it all ties together making the experience at YTI more like being in the industry on the job.
College Junior 2013-07-18T19:11:05Z
Because YTI isn't a full college campus it is smaller but doesn't lack anything that other colleges have.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
